THE FIGHT FOR EQUALITY, and why religion is the most basic attribute of any functional society

Socialists and social rights advocates give a good fight for equality. Not the equity, or fairness of all, but the equality, or sameness of all. It’s a great idea, everyone are born equal, everyone should get equal treatment, and possess equal things. Except, we are not born equal, we do not live equal, we do not possess equal things, and we do not die equal.

World would be a boring nightmare, should everyone be the same. Some are born sick, or poor, or ousted from society, some are born to great wealth, some are born with better health and stronger muscles, and the majority have some flexible starting conditions. We always want more than we have, because we naturally want to grow and to become more and better than we were yesterday. Becoming more is the drive of life itself. People who do not thrive to better themselves are naturally going on a path of self-elimination by developing cancers or various auto-immune diseases. It’s our nature to seek whatever people who we think are better than us have. We also resent the people who have more, or who have started with more. The weak always resent the strong.

Resentment and envy, not equity, is the root of all racial and gender relationships in our sociaty. Women can’t just accept and appreciate their humanity, phisique, and unique gifts such as birthing children, so they want sameness with men who they subconsciously think are stronger, or smarter, or get larger wages. Some men want to become women because they think women are gentler and nicer human form than men. As a result we get a unisex culture and one million genders. But unisex, or sameness of sexes, is not the culture where everyone have ALL qualities, but a culture where everyone [should] have NONE of the unique qualities and differences, where the concept of differences is considered evil and gross.

We all fight to become someone who we think is better than us. Few black people at some point wanted to become white because they thought that white is respectful, and some white people want to become black because they think that black is authentic and guilt free. Asians adopt Western fashion, art, and music, and Westerners adopt Asian cuisine, architecture, and fine art. Resentment and envy drive the intellectual progress, technology, market, and, consequently, the evolution itself.

The problems begin when people who never fought to have anything in their lives, and, probably, have nothing or little from whatever they think is trendy, resent the people who bled to have things they currently possess (freedom, respect, strength, etc.). The weak resent the strong, the sick resent healthy, poor resent rich, etc. People’s resentments drive them to fight.

My country Ukraine envies the US freedoms, and is bleeding revolution after revolution, and in a constant state of war to get their freedom from the Moscow boot. Belarusians, who envy Ukrainian courage, fight with bare hands against heavily armed militia and tanks for their freedom from their repressive ruler. There’s Hong Kong, waving American flags in a hope to escape the tyranny of China. And the entitled and spoiled Americans are fighting their own duly elected government to achieve the equality of all. So, what is this equality of all, and what it means?

Socialists promiss everything to everyone, and most importantly, they promiss equality to the weak, the sick, and the poor. But the equality does not come by making the weak stronger, sick healthier, and poor richer. It actually works right the opposite. The society, like an orchestra harmony, can only be built from down up. The strong have to become as weak as the weakest member of society (mass murder of aristocracy, scientists, and intellectuals during the Red revolution of 1917-1953), the healthy have to become as sick as sickest member of society (lepers colony), the rich have to become as poor as the poorest citizens (communism). This is the only way to achieve complete societal equality. In American Goebbels-TV (CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, New York Times, etc.) the weakness and sickness become the acceptable standard, and being strong and healthy is considered disrespectful to all the weak and sick – to whom the strong MUST become equal.

But after one or two generations of the equally miserables pass, new humans are born, who again differ in all the spectrum of qualities. There, the fight for social justice resumes.

But is the equality a true social justice? Why the strong, healthy, and rich should smaller themselves? Our nature is to become more, not less. Why the weak, sick, and poor must live their whole lives in resentment? Is envy generally a comfortable and good feeling to live with?

There our far ancestors came up with a simple and genius concept, which worked every single time: humans are not equal in a material or mortal realm, but we are equal in the spiritual sphere. We are born UNEQUAL for different reasons and experiences, but at the same time we are loved and judged EQUALLY by the powers beyond the understanding of human technology, meaning God(s). If you are weak, sick, and poor, but you are loved and cared for the same as the strong, healthy, and rich, – you won’t resent them. You are already equal. People who believe in God(s) simply separate their equal part (soul or spirit) from the unequal (material or mortal), and mind their own journey in life, rather than wanting to smaller every individual who appears somehow better.

If we are equal already, we need to fight for equality no more. All we need is to fight to become better than we were yesterday.

In love of God,

Equally yours.
